The final album with Jim Morrison in the lineup is by far their most blues-oriented, and the singer's poetic ardor is undiminished. superb composition, excellent structure, excellent writing from start to finish, and the sheer amount of emotion are all pulled off with near perfect execution, making this not only one of the best from the band, but one of the best blues rock albums in general.
